Details
An exploratory, new interesting hike. We will meet at Sand Key Park, address 1060 Gulf Blvd. Clearwater FL
Lmk if you want to carpool from Palm Harbor. If you live north of Palm Harbor and don't want the long drive, we can meet somewhere on US 19 about Curlew and US 19 and carpool down to the park.
Parking at Sand Key is $6 per day.
We will check out the park/beach/water. Then walk over the Sand Key bridge going north towards Clearwater Beach. Then walk along Clearwater Beach towards Pier 60.
Lunch is midway at Crabbys Dockside, good food and excellent view of the beach from their 3rd floor dining area.
Then return to Sand Key where we are parked.
Total round trip 4 miles.
Bring water, sunscreen, water shoes, anything else you need for a comfortable beach walk. It will be mostly in the sun.
If you want to jump in the water, bring whatever you need.
