Annutteliga Hammock

This hike on the 4.5 mile Annutteliga Hammock Loop. This area's geology is distinct with numerous limestone outcroppings, depressions and sinkholes. It's one of the largest preserved upland mesic hardwood hammocks in Hernando County, with hilly pine ridges and karst features, similar to parts of the D Loop in the WSF Citrus Tract. We will see a variety of scenery and trees (pine, oak, hickory, magnolia and cedar).

Supposed to be a chilly morning so we will meet to begin the hike at 9:00
Bring water, snacks, bug spray, hat, and sunscreen, although the trail is almost completely shaded.

No restrooms at trailhead. Located just south of the Hebron Church on the west side of Lecanto Highway.
