Starkey Park 10-Mile Bike Ride

The address of Jay B. Starkey Wilderness Park is 10500 Wilderness Park Blvd, New Port Richey, FL 34655. We will meet on the paved bicycle trail at MTB Trail Marker 1 (shown on the map in Photos). You can park either at the corral or at any of the parking lots on Wilderness Park Blvd north of the meeting place. We will bike 5 miles at 8-10 MPH to Cross Cypress Branch, take a break, then turn around and bike back for a total of 10 miles. If anyone wants to go further, we can decide as a group. Bring your bike that you've checked out beforehand and determined to be in good working order. Bring two quarts/liters of water, sun protection, and a spare bicycle inner tube. This easy ride is mostly unshaded. A bicycle helmet is strongly recommended for everyone and is required for children.

This event if organized by the Florida Trail Association Suncoast Chapter. To participate in this event, you must sign the assumption of risk form presented by the host before the event begins. You may preview the form at https://floridatrail.org/aor/.
