Pathfinders @ Northwest Equestrian Park

The Pathfinders (that's us!) will get out and explore on National Trails Day!

I was recently introduced to this park and liked it because it's nice and shady. Although it's an equestrian trail, hiking is also allowed.

The park's trails meander through cypress and hardwood swamps, freshwater marshes, and oak hammocks. We will aim for about 4-5 miles on a mix of the blue and red trails. Be prepared for some mud if it rains more.

It will be hot and possibly buggy.

$2 for parking - cash, credit or debit cards accepted according to the website.
