Injury from a trip & fall, venomous snakes, stinging insects, venomous spiders, wildlife encounters, heat stroke, hypothermia, noxious vegetation, weather related injury, insect or airborne transmissible virus and disease, smoke inhalation, wildfire, falling trees, drowning
Currently, Suncoast Outdoors has NO annual membership fee. We collect NO per event fees. On occasion we will ask for donations to offset out of pocket costs associated with particular events. If you have any questions or need any further information, please feel free to reach out to me.

😎Joint Hike with HangCon Fest! 5 Miles Along the River at Ridge Manor!🤗
Florida Trail Withlacoochee State Trail - Ridge Manor Trailhead, Withlacoochee State Trail, Brooksville, FL, USWe are going on a 5 mile loop hike Saturday morning, January 17, 2026. We are hosting this hike for our special guests from the HangCon Festival at Florida Sand Music Ranch that weekend. https://hangcon.com/
The hike is open to everyone.
Meet at 8:30 with a planned start time of 9:am.

Start time may be a bit of a moving target as we have our guests from HangCon shuttling over. Patience everyone!
Bring proper footwear....flip flops won't work.. Also bring water or other hydration. This is a really nice trail.

🌴Let's Hike! 🥾12 Miles? 🥾15 Miles? Or Somewhere in Between?🤷Who's In?
Silver Lake Recreation Area, 31475 Silver Lake Rd., Brooksville, fl, USFor experienced well conditioned hikers
Let’s go for a hike that’s no less than 12 miles and no more than 15.
Meet at Silver Lake picnic shelter near the boat ramp.
We go under I-75 and continue north on the Low Water Trail also known as Croom D-loop.
We will continue north and emerge from the woods where Croom Rital Road crosses the Withlacoochee Trail.
From there we’ll access Croom B-loop and head west, complete B-loop and access Florida National Scenic Trail going south before making our way back to Silver Lake picnic shelter.
Bring 2 liters water or other hydration, proper footwear, whatever other personal items you need. BE PROPERLY PREPARED FOR A FULL DAY HIKE $2.00 Day use fee payable online day use permit
