‼️PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY AND THOROUGHLY BEFORE SIGNING UP❗️
This hike is best suited for experienced, well conditioned hikers. All hikers must individually register. i.e. no guests. By doing so you are signing and agreeing to our liability waiver/assumption of risk.
‼️All participants are expected to know how to be properly prepared and provisioned. This includes adequate hydration, ground cloth for sitting at break, whatever personal items you need, proper footwear, etc. Day use fee is $2.00. Restrooms and water available at trail head.

We will head out counterclockwise, quickly crossing over Morris Bridge and immediately descending a steep sandbag embankment into Flatwoods Park.
Our route will utilize a significant amount of double track forest road /trail, thus avoiding long stretches on narrow single track. With a larger crowd, this allows for a more enjoyable experience as we can spread out a bit and socialize. It also reduces the amount of paved trail walking and encounters with bike traffic. Parts of our route will not be mapped, but there's no dense brush bushwhacking!
At about mile 10, we'll be carefully crossing over busy Morris Bridge Rd going into Hole in the Fence for the return leg back to our cars.

Let's enjoy a fun, exhilarating, & challenging day in the woods! 🌴😎
⛺ (pending) No cost camping at Oak Ridge Campground is available Friday and Saturday night. It will be a fun overnight event for those who want to make it so.
