NO BEGINNERS< PLEASE
This is for experienced kayaker and hikers. We'll be paddling at a relaxed pace, please going with the flow and stay together. If you are in a hurry to get this event over with or need to go someplace, this event is not for you. This is an all-day event. We will be staying together as a group.

October 18th- launching at 10am sharp.

$6.00 fee for parking and launch. If you have a State Pass, bring it with you and you may get a discount.
There are Kayak for Rentals there 352-261-5840.

At 10:00 am we will launch at the kayak launch at Silver Springs State Park. I will have a YELLOW HARD HAT ON MY CAR OR ON MY KAYAK. (launch parking lot is at the far right as you enter the parking lot).

Before you unload your kayaks, pay for your parking and launch fee 1st. The line can get very long to pay.

IF IT TAKES YOU ALONG TIME TO UNLOAD, YOU MIGHT WANT TO GET THERE AT 9am or sooner.
I will be there at 8 am when the park opens.
We will be launching at 10am Sharp.

From there we will be paddling at a relaxed pace exploring the beautiful Springs all the way down to Silver Spring State Park Campground, which is about 2 to 3 miles. There we will stop for lunch and take a 2-to-3-mile hike around the park and then head on back and load up. For those that would like to stop for a bit before heading out. I'm going to Mojo's Restuarant close by 4620 E. Silver Springs Blvd. Ocala, Fl. 34470. 352-291-6656.
All together the paddle and hike will be 8 to 9 miles.

What to bring:
Breakfast and lunch, lots of water, lead line, kayak wheels, whistle, swimming gear, snorkeling gear, water shoes and hiking shoes, bug off, sunscreen. The rest you should know as an experienced Paddlers and Hikers.

No pets, kids, smoking, no guests - each participant must register individually. Please reframe from talking about politics and religion on my events.

From there I'm driving to Dunnellon, fl., I will be staying 1 nights at the Comfort Inn & Suites to paddle the next day at RAINBOW SRINGS if anybody want to join me.
