This is a 2200 acre property acquired by the county under the Environmental Land Aquisition Protection Program ELAPP. It is another example of lands being permanently protected and converted into public resources for recreation and enjoyment.

The trail will be on open prairie much of the time. It may involve a wet crossing. (no bridge)

There is no day use fee. Please bring adequate hydration, whatever personal items you need, a ground cloth for sitting during breaks is helpful if the ground is damp.
