CHISTMAS EVE HIKE at Oscar Scherer State Park, 6-miles

Park fee is $5 per car, or your State Park Pass. PLEASE KEEP YOUR RECEIT OR STATE PARK PASS WITH YOU ON THIS EVENT.

We will meet and start at the parking lot to the left of the Ranger Station as you come in. I will have a YELLOW HARD HAT on my car to find me. From the Ranger Station we will hike up to Lake Osprey and beyond to Big Lake and back together as a group.
There are no bathrooms at the Ranger Station but about less than a half a mile into our hike, there is.

What to bring: 2 to 3 liters of water, walking stick, snack, whistle, bug off.
I also suggest long sleeves, long pants and closed shoes.
Your feet might get wet and muddy.
