UPDATE Feb. 22! I scouted our route this morning and am happy to report that all trails have been mowed and cleared of large debris. Trail surfaces still very rutted and uneven.

This will be a 7 -9 mile hike. We'll park at the ranger station. Then hike OUT of the park, go about 100 ft north along Morris Bridge cross over and climb over a weed choked gate into to the Washburn Tract. Actual route TBD as we go along.
This is a SWFWMD conservation tract and is maintained to a different standard than the county parks.
There will be uneven trail tread, minimal signage, trail blazing, unmarked turns, You must be an experienced hiker and comfortable in a minimally maintained wilderness environment. You are expected to know how to be properly prepared and outfitted for such an outing. If unsure, please ask.
$2.00 day use fee/ restrooms and water available.
