Swimming in the river is kind of tricky from your kayak, here is link for the rules. https://www.experienceweeki.com/spz
You can swim at Rogers Park in designated areas, after the kayak if you can't inter and exit your kayak without disturbing the environment (basically don't touch anything but water) . They have big signs along the river letting everyone know where swimming is allowed. Please read the river rules if you are planning to swim, its a $140 fine if you break the rules, and police do patrol the river regularly.
We will meet in the Rogers Park parking lot, 8:30 am is usually a good time to find parking, so try to get there early if you can, also we have to pay for parking, but I'm not sure how much.
