KAYAK/SUP: Vamo - NEW Midnight Pass - Little Sarasota Bay - Spanish Point.

ARRIVAL: No later than 8:30 am sharp! We launch between 8:45 and 9am.

FIRST TIMERS: SunCoast Pedal & Paddle (SP&P) decals are available for purchase prior to the event. The cost is $3 (exact change is appreciated). BY displaying the SP&P decal on your kayak, you are exempt from signing the trip liability waiver for EACH trip you attend (you will sign an annual waiver when you purchase the decals).

CANCELLATION POLICY: Since the demand to attend our paddling events is high, we request that if your plans change and you won't be attending, that you remove your name from the "attendee list" as soon as possible! If you do not remove yourself from the list of attendees WITHIN 24 HOURS of the event, you will be marked as a "No Show". If you accumulate THREE "No Shows" you will be dropped from the group!

DESCRIPTION: We launch from Vamo Drive Park and paddle past Palmer Ranch, Spanish Point, Osprey Bay, Casey Key and Jim Neville Marine Preserve. We will take a break at Midnight Pass before heading back across the ICW to Vamo Drive Park.

Total trip mileage is approximately 8 miles. Due to possible strong winds and currents, this paddle is for intermediate/experienced paddlers only!

There will be a 20 minute stop at Midnight Pass including a walk across the dunes and an optional swim in the Gulf (weather permitting).

This trip is exclusively for members of Suncoast Pedal & Paddle. No guests, pets, +1's or spouses allowed on this paddle.

IMPORTANT: Approximately 5 minutes before launch time we will hold a mandatory pre-paddle guidelines/safety briefing. Please do not get into your kayaks until AFTER the safety briefing is over.

Don't forget to bring a PFD and whistle (required by law), water, snacks, sunscreen, bug repellent, water shoes, dry bag, paddle float, paddle leash, sprayskirt, bilge pump, camera, etc.
