Durney Key and Pasco Stilt Homes w/Lunch

We will paddle to Durney Key where you can view or paddle to the off-shore stilt homes . We will paddle out from the City of Port Ritchie Warefront Park to Durney Key (approx. 2.2 mi,). At Durney Key we can swim, sightsee, collect shells, relax and have a snack.

Nearby are the off shore stilt homes of Pasco County. The (8) stilt homes are located from 1/2 to 4 miles from Durney Key so you can paddle an adfitional 1/2 to 2 miles bringing your total paddling distance of 5 to 8 miles. This is a rare sight to see and well worth the trip.

This paddle is for intermediate/experienced level paddlers only.

It is recommended to bring plenty of replenishment fluids, water shoes, sunscreen, hat, insect repellent, snacks, sunglasses and a first-aid kit.

A PFD and whistle is MANDATORY as required by the USCG.
