The Internet of Things

Our guest leader for August will be Dave Dockery, president of the Tampa Bay Computer Society. His subject will be a digression on "The Internet of Things." He will reflect how, in ways large and small, we are enveloped by the invisible network of communications intelligence that informs our world.

The Humanist Society of the Suncoast invites anyone with a thirst for knowledge or a sense of wonder to attend our monthly meetings at the Dunedin Library. Each month we either offer an interesting speaker on a current topic, or moderate a group discussion with our wise, weary and opinionated membership.

The Humanist Society of the Suncoast meets on the first Saturday of the month approximately 10 times per year. Always check our meetup page to verify exact details.

There is no meeting in December for the regional Winter Holiday party, or in February as part of the Darwin Day event with TBCOR. Some meetings are delayed one week for holidays and scheduling conflicts.
