About us
Who We Are
Welcome to Suncoast Social! We’re a 20s/30s community based around Sarasota, Bradenton, and the surrounding area. We bring people together through a mix of outdoor adventures and social events—making it easy to meet new friends, build real connections, and stay active in the local community.
Whether you’re new to the area or just looking to expand your circle, you’ll find a friendly group and a steady calendar of things to do.
What We Do
We organize a wide range of events to match different interests—from nature-focused outings to laid-back social nights. Examples include:
- Outdoor & Nature Events: nature walks, beach days, kayaking, fishing, snorkeling, springs trips, camping, birding, fossil hunts, and stargazing
- Social Nights: trivia night, karaoke, mixers, game nights, and casual meetups
- Sports & Activities: pickleball, group workouts, and other active hangouts
- Singles Events: low-pressure singles meetups and themed social events
- Networking & Community: networking events, local spotlights, and occasional volunteer meetups (like beach cleanups)

Disclaimer
Participate at your own risk. Suncoast Social and its organizers are not responsible for injuries, accidents, or other incidents that may occur during events. Participation is voluntary, and attendees assume all risks. Please come prepared (appropriate gear, enough water), and only participate in activities that match your fitness and comfort level.
A Note on Inclement Weather
Florida weather can change quickly. We’ll post updates on event pages if we expect changes. If rain is light and likely to pass, we’ll usually proceed as planned. If conditions become unsafe or the weather turns persistent, we may reschedule or relocate to a nearby indoor spot (often a restaurant or café) so the group can still hang out.
