Paddle & Kayak Adventure at Jiggs Landing: Join us for a relaxing paddle at Jiggs Landing in Bradenton! Connect with fellow outdoor enthusiasts in their 20s and 30s while exploring the calm waters of Evers Reservoir and the Braden River.
Enjoy the peaceful Old Florida scenery and keep an eye out for herons, egrets, ospreys, turtles, and other local wildlife along the way.
Total route: Approximately 2–3 miles round trip.

After the paddle, those who’d like to keep mingling are welcome to join us for a bite at the restaurant at Jiggs Landing.

Event Details:

• Time: Saturday, 9/19. Meet at 10am for setup - launch at 10:30am.
• Location: We will meet and launch from Jiggs Landing at 6106 63rd Street East in Bradenton, Florida

About the Event:

• Paddling: Beginners and experienced welcome! Bring your kayak or paddle board, or if you don't have one, you can rent one locally but do so in advance to ensure you get one.
• Rentals: **If you do not have a kayak or paddle board, you may rent one via Jiggs Landing Outpost to reserve a rental - call to reserve (941) 727-4181.
  Half Day rental rates are below:

$35 for Single Kayak
$45 for Tandem Kayak

What to Bring:

• Small backpack (dry bag is ideal)
• Water or camel pack
• Life jacket (if you don't have one, you can use one with your rental)
• Sunglasses
• Sun Hat
• Light clothes, SPF 30+
