When we think of art... we think of music, poetry, paintings, sculptures, and yes, all those things require creative energy... But there’s so much more! Medicine, legislation, home-building, relationships, travel, re-decorating, grassroots organizing, teaching, leading, sales, marketing.... all of that is creative too!

ABOUT YOUR FACILITATOR:
Mae (she/her) is an actor, filmmaker, and SAG-AFTRA member. She has been a member of wonderwell creative community for the past 5 years and is excited to hold space for others to experience the magic of their own creativity.

Mae brings an element of feistiness and a bit of "Someone told you you couldn't do that? ok, let's prove them wrong!" She's also a big believer in maximums as well as minimums for creative work. Deciding where you'll stop can be so powerful in preventing burnout.

Hi, I’m Hannah—a multi-passionate artist here to honor the messy human journey and claim our powerful nature as creators.

For the last fifteen years, I’ve been dedicated to studying, teaching, and working professionally at the intersection of art and healing. I feel alive supporting artists and seekers move through stuckness, soften perfectionism, and get off the approval train—so we can create art (and lives) that feel alive and aligned. I’d love to share this journey with you.

ABOUT YOUR FACILITATOR:
Keiko Elizabeth is a Los Angeles–based actress, producer, and filmmaker. She holds a B.S. in Biology from Stanford University and an MFA in Acting from California State University, Fullerton.

A NOTE FROM KEIKO:
Naomi Foner once said, “I don’t know any woman who isn’t constantly fighting between the exquisite selfishness required to be an artist and the exquisite selflessness that’s required to be a parent.” I know this tension intimately, and my intention is to create an experience that allows creative parents to find more spaciousness in the lives they are already living, and greater fulfillment in both their art and their parenting.

ABOUT YOUR FACILITATOR:
Hi, I'm Valeria! I am from Mexico; I was born in Monterrey and also lived in Mexico City before moving to Barcelona with my family at 13. I began painting in high school, and it has accompanied me through all phases of my life. I later began my acting career in Spain before receiving an artist visa and continuing my work in Los Angeles, performing in film, commercials, and theater. In 2020, I returned to Barcelona to complete a Master’s in Cognitive Science, which inspired me to create stories that weave together what I was learning about animal cognition and the fascinating complexities of the human mind and emotions. I currently teach acting at Barcelona Cinema School and Acting Studio, and I run Voh Studio, an online space I founded for language teaching and acting coaching.

My intention for this circle is to create a space where we can all show up as artists and support each other while moving through the structure of The Artist’s Way.

I want to offer my presence, attention, and heart so people feel held and inspired to explore the parts of themselves that the book brings out. To me, this circle is a place to nourish each other, to feel supported, and to reconnect with the artist inside each of us.
