What we’re about
Sunday Assembly Brighton is a secular (non religious) group that come together to celebrate life. Our motto is: live better, help often, wonder more. Our mission is to help everyone find and fulfil their full potential. It is part of a worldwide movement. More details can be found on our website at: https://sundayassemblybrighton.com/about/
On the fourth Sunday of every month we meet at Middle Street School Hall, Middle Street, Brighton. Come and explore our monthly theme through the medium of pop songs, talks, stories, readings and cake. We're always looking for local contributors for inspiring talks, so do get in touch if you fancy it!
In addition, we run other regular events and particularly our ‘Wander More/Wonder More’ walks. These are generally short walks of about 5 miles in the Brighton area often held on the second Sunday of the month. We encourage walkers to talk to others while they walk and we stop periodically to discuss the history or other feature of the walk.
JOINING GROUP: We are sorry but you will need to be 'approved' to join the group. This is just to avoid spam bots that were abusing our website and sending out inappropriate messages to our members. Approval is normally within 48 hours.

Our main speaker in December is Dan Simpson a writer, facilitator, and creativity coach. As a poet and spoken word artist, he's been poet-in-residence at Glastonbury Festival, Imperial College London, Waterloo Station, and St Albans Cathedral. As a facilitator, Dan designs imaginative and reflective workshops that encourage participants to express themselves authentically and creatively. Dan's talk will be looking at how we can better interact and be excellent to each other.
And of course, we'll be getting suitably raucous with our usual singalong songs with generous portions of tea*, cake and friendly chit-chat immediately afterwards - so you can take time to make new friends and/or catch up with old ones.Entry is completely FREE but we will be asking for donations to be split between this month's charity and for our own running costs, hire of the school etc.
