Sunday Assembly Brighton: Queer as Folklore

This month we are talking about storytelling and are delighted to welcome Amelia Ace Armande a non-binary storyteller who became curious about the lack of queer characters in native English storytelling. They have been on adventure since to learn different LGBTQ+ myths, legends and folklore from across the world as well as why these stories may have disappeared from the English canon and how we can save them.

And of course, we'll be getting suitably raucous with our usual singalong songs with generous portions of tea*, cake and friendly chit-chat immediately afterwards - so you can take time to make new friends and/or catch up with old ones.

Entry is completely FREE but we will be asking for donations. to cover costs and to support our charity of the month Brighton Heritage Trust

Sunday Assembly Brighton takes place on the second Sunday of every month, Middle Street School in The Lanes, 37 Middle Street, Brighton BN1 1AL.
