About us
Sunday Assembly is a secular community which meets monthly to hear great talks, engage in service projects, and celebrate this one life we know we have.
~What happens at Sunday Assembly?~
Sunday Assembly service is held monthly on the second Sunday at 11:00 a.m. Each gathering includes a reading—often a poem—followed by an engaging talk aligned with the principles of Live Better, Help Often, and Wonder More. After the presentation, lunch is provided to encourage attendees to stay, connect, and engage with one another. For a sample of our past talks, check out our Youtube Channel, where all past talks are shown.
Outside of our Sunday Assembly event, we organize small groups and other social activities throughout Southeast Michigan. These include community dinners, game nights, peer-to-peer support, and local volunteering events.
