Sunday Nomads

Sunday Nomads (formerly Sunday Assembly Knoxville) are a group of intellectually curious people who don't identify with any religion.

Thanks to the enshittification of Meetup, Sunday Nomads will be going away unless someone wants to shell out nearly $400 per year to keep it alive. It was a nice way to share events for a while, but no longer worth the price given how few people still use the platform. We will no longer post events here after September 2026.

If you are interested in events in the Knoxville area that offer intellectually curious conversations, check out the TVUUC ForUUm, Braver Angels of East TN, Rationalists of East TN, Citizens Fighting for Democracy, Meaningful Conversations Knoxville, or any of the activities hosted at TVUUC.

Sunday Nomads follows the mantra of Sunday Assembly to "Live Better, Help Often, and Wonder More" and practice "Radical Inclusivity". While most of our members tend to be secular and universalist, anyone is welcome to join.

All events are organized and hosted by other organizations, so even if there are no RSVPs in this group, the events should still be well attended.
