Susan Johnson is a longtime Las Vegas educator and school administrator with more than twenty years of experience serving students and families. In May 2024, her family was forever changed by gun violence — a tragedy no parent is ever prepared to face.
As a 2026 Everytown Survivor Network Fellow, Susan is transforming personal loss into purposeful action. In this powerful presentation, she shares her story, explores national and local data, and challenges each of us to consider how we can help prevent future violence.
