Monthly Assembly: #RESIST

“You may trod me in the very dirt But still, like dust, I'll rise.” – Maya Angelou
“I know. But I do not approve. And I am not resigned.” ― Edna St. Vincent Millay
Join Sunday Assembly Nashville on April 13 at East Park Community Center for a timely consideration of facing abusive power by resisting and degrading its harmful actions. Come and hear about real life actions people can take to make a difference. Our speaker will be Melissa Sautter of East Nashtivists. Our all ages program begins at 5 p.m. Off street parking is plentiful and free. We enjoy a potluck dinner after Assembly. Sunday Assembly is a celebration of the one life we know we have. We want Sunday Assembly to be a place of love and compassion where, no matter what your situation, you are welcomed, accepted, loved, and encouraged to live your best life.
Sunday Assembly Nashville is a secular congregation that celebrates life! Join us for our monthly Assembly with a great live band, a TED Talk-like guest speaker, and a member sharing a story from their life. Our monthly event is designed to get us to laugh, sing a bit, learn something, and let our hair down. Please join us at our post-event potluck! Bring a dish if you can, but don't worry if you can't. We'd love to see you there either way. We welcome all who welcome all. Come out and get to know likeminded people from our area. Life is better when you have a community to share it with!
