Potluck and Folk Song Sing-a-long with the Humanists

Hello Sunday Assemblers

Join the humanists at this casual Meetup! We'll "break bread" then sing some songs. There is a theme to the sing-a-long: "Folk Songs"! So expect favorites like "This Land is Your Land", "Blowin' in the Wind", "Tom Dooley", "Big Yellow Taxi", "Scarborough Fair", "Leavin' on a Jet Plane" and many more. There is a piano in our home for those who might play it and I plan to have a bass rig available. Otherwise, we will go for acoustic guitar campfire style. Be sure to bring your Digital Songbook (phone) so you can look up lyrics. (In case I can't figure out how to put them on the big screen???) And remember, enthusiasm does more for singing than expertise, so.....Let 'er rip! Got a favorite folk treasure? Maybe we will try to "stump the band" and take some requests? All songs will be in the key of "fun".
I'll be wearing a "Woodstock" T shirt! Just sayin'!
