Black Excellence In Physics + Superb Owl watch party!
Details
Celebrate life with Nashville's secular congregation at our monthly assembly and potluck!
“The power and beauty of physical laws is that they apply everywhere, whether or not you choose to believe in them. In other words, after the laws of physics, everything else is opinion.”
― Neil deGrasse Tyson
Join Sunday Assembly Nashville on February 11 at East Park Community Center for a look at black excellence in physics. Our speaker will be Dr. Kent Wallace, professor of physics at Fisk University.
Assembly will be at 5:00 p.m., then at 6:00 p.m. we go overtime and show the Big Game on the presentation screen with a potluck and game snacks. Childcare will be provided during assembly.
The Sunday Assembly is a celebration of the one life we know we have. We want Sunday Assembly to be a place of love and compassion, where, no matter what your situation, you are welcomed, accepted and loved. Most of all, have fun, be nice and join in.
