Join us for our Multimedia Meetup on Sunday, March 29, 3 – 4:30 PM! We will be returning to Commonplace Coffee at 7514 Thomas Blvd for this meetup.
You're invited to explore the work and legacy of George Orwell in whatever way interests you most.
You may choose to:
- Watch the documentary film Orwell: 2+2=5 (2025)
- Watch the film adaptation 1984 (released in 1984)
- Watch the earlier 1956 film version of 1984
- Read Orwell’s novel 1984 (published in 1949)
Or, feel free to simply join us to enjoy a beverage and listen in on what is sure to be a lively and thought-provoking discussion. Both the novel and the films examine the nature of truth, facts, and power, and how they can be shaped—or manipulated—within society.
