Balboa Park Bridle Path Hike

Come join us on this moderately-challenging 2.6 mile hike on and off pavement. This super fun loop starts at the farthest southwest point of the park near the San Diego Old Fire Alarm Communication Building and peaks at the Upas Street entrance to the park, looping via the west end park trails. We’ll pass the Pine Grove picnic area, Cypress Point picnic area, Redwood Circle, Marston House, and the Bowling Green. You’ll also pass Nate’s Point dog park right before going under the Cabrillo Bridge. It is recommended to wear sturdy footwear as the route includes up and downhill dirt paths and stairs.
