Found Poetry Creation Event

Details
This date has been changed from April to May 10. Thanks!
Let's make some found poetry! No special skills needed. Bring newspapers and magazines to cut apart, if you have them, but some will be provided, too. We will create "newspaper poetry" and "blackout poetry." Plan to share what you write!
> Found poetry is a type of poetry created by taking words, phrases, and sometimes whole passages from other sources and reframing them as poetry by making changes in spacing and lines, or by adding or deleting text, thus imparting new meaning. Basically, found poetry means finding words in books, magazines, newspapers, and other media and turning it into a poem.
We will be meeting at a private home in the Allied Gardens area of San Diego. The address will be provided to those who RSVP closer to the time of the event. The location is not the library as shown below but it is nearby.
If using public transportation, you would take Bus 115 to the Navajo Road and College Avenue stop, or Bus 13 to the Crawford Street and Zion Avenue stop. From each of these locations, you would have about a 25 minute walk to the private home.
