Hey, you. Yeah, you. Are you having a hard time getting or keeping your mind quiet? Oh, no reason, there's nothing going on these days to make us ask that, except *Kermit flail* EVERYTHING EVERY DAY. How does a few hours of seated meditation, walking meditation, temple cleaning, and community tea sound? We thought so. Please join us at the Dharma Bum Temple for a *wholly secular* approach to getting your brain working working for you instead of against you.

Per the below description from the Temple's website, please enter the Temple no later than 7:50am and be seated by 7:55am. The 2 Sunday Assembly hosts will be seated in the back area, if you want to sit together. There's parking across the street at the school admin building, closed on weekends.

"A Half Day of Silence Retreat is held the first Saturday of every month. The meditation practice is from 8am-12pm and please arrive and be seated by 7:55am. RSVP is no longer required, you may just show up.
This is an opportunity to explore the meditation practice in consecutive periods focusing, dwelling, contemplating and settling into silence. This time will be perfect for beginners and for those already established in their meditation practice. Periods of seated meditation, walking meditation, temple cleaning and community tea will all be carried out in silence. You will enter the Temple in silence and you will leave in silence, creating the opportunity at the end to return your day in silence.
