NO KINGS! Mass Mobilization at Waterfront Park

Did we elect a king? Hell no. Let's celebrate this special day with millions of our closest friends all over the country and make that message heard. The more people who can attend, the more undeniable our message will be.

If you have never attended a protest before, now is the time. You will be among friends.

A bunch of you have expressed interest in attending this event as a group. Please check out the official site for this event, and also the list of partner organizations that support this event. And the MC will be a previous speaker at a past assembly! Come see who it will be. And word is that there WILL BE a march around 11 AM.

RSVPing to this meetup is great if you want to do that, but it's unnecessary. Bring as many people as possible with you, and bring water and sun protection. Keep in mind that if you do bring your phone, the network may be overwhelmed and texting and calling may not be possible there; that's what happened at the Women's Marches and Marches for Science.

For anyone who wants to be there as a group, let's meet north of the statue -- there's a photo below with the location circled in yellow. Even if you can only get there late, please come anyway. Let's do this like we do everything, together as humans. An organizer will try to wear a helium balloon so y'all can find us. Please consider coming early; the later it gets, the harder it will be to find your people.
