Walk in the San Diego Pride Parade!

Sunday Assembly San Diego is back at San Diego Pride! We'll be marching in the parade (with you, we hope!) but will not be hosting a booth for the two-day Pride festival.

San Diego's Pride Parade is now the largest single day event in San Diego and we would love to represent this community that we all love so
with a rousing and robust group of assemblers. Please truly do consider marching in the parade contingent with us. We can promise you free private, off-site parking*, shuttle rides to (very near) our contingent, and SNACKS! Water, first aid, sunscreen, and signs to hold (if you wish) will all be ready for you. Feel free to wear clothes in which you feel comfortable. If you have no rainbows in your closet, don't worry about it because we want you and you are enough!

Don't feel like marching? No worries, there are plenty of other ways to help out.

*We have permission to park at the Banker's Hill Club (3030 Front St) where we meet for our monthly assembly. We'll have a shuttle running every half hour to transport people from there to our starting position in the parade. Thankfully, this puts us pretty close to our vehicles at the end of the parade route.

Check-in time window is between 9-11:00am.

Physical demands: There will be a lot of hanging around (and chatting!), then a 1.5-mile walk/roll while smiling and waving. We have room in the truck for those with mobility issues. (We do not have a hoyer lift, so let an organizer know if you have specific mobility needs.) This route is power chair/wheelchair friendly.

This is an outdoor event, but there will be crowds. If you are feeling sick, please stay home and get better.
