NO KINGS! Mass Mobilization at Waterfront Park

Did we elect a king? Hell no. Millions of us have made it clear that there are to be NO KINGS, NO CROWNS, AND NO THRONE (and definitely not in the new ballroom). Let's celebrate this special day with millions of our closest friends all over the country and make that message heard, again. And again. However many times we need to say it for the point to be driven home. The more people who can attend, the more undeniable our message will be.

A bunch of you have expressed interest in attending this event as a group. Please check out the official site for this event. It seems that each time, the march starts at different point in the event, so if you want to march as a group, PLEASE PLAN TO BE AT THE LOCATION ON TIME and leave home early to get there. It'll be jammed, but amazing. If you have never attended a protest before, now is the time. You will be among friends.

RSVPing to this meetup is great if you want to do that, but it's unnecessary. Bring as many people as possible with you, and bring water and sun protection. Keep in mind that if you do bring your phone, the network may be overwhelmed and texting and calling may not be possible there.

For anyone who wants to be there as a group, let's meet north of the statue -- there's a photo below with the location circled in yellow. Even if you can only get there late, please come anyway. Let's do this like we do everything, together as humans. An organizer will try to wear a helium balloon so y'all can find us. Please consider coming early; the later it gets, the harder it will be to find your people.
