Sunday Assembly with Jenn Budd

Our Southern Border and Illegal Crossings
We’ve all heard the rhetoric, but are closed borders safer than open borders? How did we get here? In the 1990s, immigration officials spent billions on creating deterrence to illegal crossings. Thirty years later, it seems few are deterred. Immigration activist Jenn Budd – formerly a Senior Patrol Agent with the US Border Patrol in San Diego, a Senior Intelligence Agent at San Diego Sector Headquarters, and an Acting Supervisory Border Patrol Agent – will help us get into the nitty gritty of our border: why people are crossing illegally, why the current policies aren’t working, and what needs to be done to alleviate this dire situation.
After the assembly, we will be hosting Connection Lab, and providing food for folks who attend the assembly and stay after for that event. Please RSVP for that separately here.
Here's the Zoom link for anyone who wants to attend online:

Some of the best community time is staying after the assembly for coffee and snacks and to hang out with other assemblers, so please do.
