I'm Only One Person- What Can I Do?- Community Assembly and Potluck
Details
In the face of overwhelming world events, it’s easy to feel helpless and hopeless. Perhaps with so many important causes, you are overwhelmed and don't know the best way to contribute. This month, we’ll share short, inspiring stories of individuals making a real difference. Our speaker will focus on ways that joining forces with organizations can turn one person’s concern into meaningful impact. We'll also share our concerns and ideas with others in small group activities and experience the joy of singing as a group. Leave feeling connected and empowered to do something that matters.
Sunday Assembly is a global network of secular (non-religious) gatherings that create community and celebrate this one life we know we have.
March marks our "grand opening" in our new location, the Ow Family Community Room at the Capitola Branch Library.
The event is free and open to all.
Program begins promptly at 11. Afterward we'll connect with others at a potluck lunch. If you can, please bring a dish to share (along with any serving utensils needed).
