Songs, Symbols and Significance

Join us for a fascinating and fun-filled program! Sunday Assembly Santa Cruz Member Susan McLean presents “Symbols Everywhere!“
We'll take a look at a few of the gazillion symbols people (and animals!) use. Do you have a favorite? If you like, you can draw it on the whiteboard and tell about it. Let's see what comes up!

This month we’re also excited to feature our guest musician Iridaea, who will lead us in a fun mix of well-known folk, pop, and rock songs. Come prepared to sing, and laugh, along with his fabulous repertoire of music.

We’ll also play another round of “Real Life Instagram,” where we try to guess whose photo is whose. If you’d like to have one of your photos featured, choose a photo you’ve taken that is meaningful to you, but does NOT feature you in it (because if you were in the photo it will be too easy to guess that that photo is yours). Send your photo ahead of time to welcome@sundayassemblysantacruz.org

Following the program, we’ll enjoy a potluck lunch together. Please, please bring a dish to share if you can, but join us for lunch rather way.
