Join other animal lovers in conversation over vegan pastries and coffee/tea!

In the spirit of Sunday Assembly Atlanta's motto — "live better, help often, wonder more" — we'll meet to support each other in becoming better caretakers and advocates for our non-human neighbors. Companion animals (cats; dogs; horses), farmed animals (chickens; pigs; cows), and wild animals (frogs; squirrels; butterflies) all face their own unique challenges. They can't speak for themselves, so it's up to us to think about how we can make the world a better place for them.

We'll start with these two discussion questions and then see where the conversation leads us:

1. Which individual animal in your life has made a lasting impression on you? (For example, perhaps a certain pet, or an animal you found outside who needed help.)
2. What is something you've been wondering about, related to becoming a better animal caretaker/advocate? We'll collaborate to share ideas and respond to each other's questions.

Plus, enjoy a croissant, muffin, biscuit, quiche, or other treat from Flour + Time! This bakery is entirely vegan, meaning they do not use any animal products. They also offer a selection of beverages such as coffee, lattes, teas, and local chai.
