Summer Solstice Celebration

Details
Welcome to our first Summer Solstice Celebration!
Join us for a noon time celebration of the longest day of the year, and contemplate what is growing in each of us, in the shade within the metaphorical soil, and what will emerge into the light from us, reaching upwards and outwards.
We'll meet at the pavilion in Gotham Way Park at Noon, eat some delicious food prepared by attendees, and hold a community sharing ceremony.
You'll get to socialize and share about your life, whether this is your first assembly experience or you're a longtime member.
What To Bring
Grab some sunscreen, bug spray, a water bottle, and (importantly!) a dish for the potluck meal, especially one that has resonance with the summer either in general (seasonal ingredients) or personally (a childhood memory).
Use this potluck Google sheet to tell us what you will be bringing: Summer Solstice Meal signup
Accommodation and Location
Gotham Way Park in the Pavillion
1996 Gotham Way NE, Atlanta, GA 30324
If driving, park along Gotham Way NE and head to the end of the road for the park. Public transit is available via buses 27 and 809 with a short walk to get to the park.
The park does not have a paved path to the pavilion, requiring going a short distance over a grassy field. We're happy to provide more details for those with different mobility needs.
There are no restrooms at the park, but if needed we can drive a short distance to the Roshley home for that.
