Help Often Weekend Series - Community Cleanup

Welcome to Sunday Assembly Atlanta’s Help Often weekend series! Join us the second (or so) weekend of every month as we live out an important part of our motto, which is to “Live Better, Help Often, and Wonder More” in this one life we know we have.

What: Self organized pick up of large trash and sweep up of smaller trash and rubble along the sidewalk below I-85 connecting Stone Creek Apartments and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta support office.

Meet in front of the leasing office of Stone Creek Apartments (visitor parking available). This is just across the street from the cleanup area. The apartment pool restrooms will be accessible if needed

Supplies: Trash bags and gloves will be available. There is a collection of cigarette butts and smaller rubble, so hosts will be bringing a large outdoor broom to try to collect some of it. There may be some extra trash pickers but feel free to bring your own gloves, trash pickers, or other supplies that would be useful.

Please wear sunscreen and bring your own water. Bug spray will be available.

Clothing: We will be in the shade, but please wear practical clothes for warm weather as well as close toed shoes.
