Kalinga Park To Brisbane City.
Details
Date: Tuesday 10th March at 6:30am.
Starting Point: Kalinga Park Clayfield.
Distance: Approx. 35 kms return.
Time: Allow 3 hours for the ride and the coffee break.
Speed: Easy pace 17 to 20 kmh. We will adjust the speed to suit the group.
Terrain: A few hills, cycling on bike paths, shared paths, and back roads.
Route:
We’ll start at Kalinga Park and follow the Northern Bikeway through to the Roma Street Parklands. From there, we’ll cross five Brisbane River bridges before stopping for coffee at the City Botanic Gardens.
For the return leg, cycle along the Centenary Bikeway, crossing over the Go Between and Kurilpa bridges, pass through Roma Street Parklands again, and follow the Northern Bikeway back to Kalinga Park.
