South Brisbane To Forest Lake:
Details
Date: Sunday 15th March at 6:30am.
Starting Point: Kurilpa Point Park (GOMA)
Parking: Street parking is readily available along Montague Road or on Riverside Drive via Jane Street.
Distance: Approx. 60 kms return.
Time: Allow 4 hours for the ride and the coffee break.
Speed: 18 to 20 kmh. We will adjust the speed to suit the group.
Terrain: This ride is not recommended for beginner riders due to its challenging elevation of 600 metres and the distance using bike paths, shared paths, and quieter back roads.
Route:
Starting at the Kurilpa Point Park, we will cycle over the Go Between Bridge along the Bi-Centennial Bikeway exiting at Land Street, Sylvan Road to link up with the Western Freeway Bikeway to Forest Lake. The return journey will be the same path.
Wet Weather:
If the weather is not suitable for riding an update will be posted 1.5 hours before the start time.
