Date: Sunday 17th May 26 at 7:00.
Starting point: GOMA South Brisbane.
Parking: Plenty of free parking on Montague Road or along the Riverside Drive via Jane Street.
Distance: Approx. 40 kms return.
Time: Allow 3 1/2 hours for the ride and the coffee break.
Speed: Easy pace 17 to 20 kmh. We will adjust the speed to suit the group.
Terrain: A few hills. We will be using bike paths, shared paths, and back roads.
Details:
We’ll begin at GOMA South Brisbane and ride across the Go Between Bridge, following the bikeway beneath Coronation Drive through Toowong, QU, and Indooroopilly. From there, we’ll cross the Walter Taylor Bridge and continue through Chelmer and Tennyson, before following the Brisbane Corso and climbing Cemetery Hill. After crossing Annerley Road, we’ll loop behind the P.A. Hospital to join the Southeast Motorway bike path, leading us into the Botanic Gardens for a well‑earned coffee break. We’ll then resume our ride along the Bicentennial Bikeway, returning to our starting point at GOMA.
