Sunday Hike on Rock Creek Trail from Aspen Hill Local Park

Very easy! Think of this more as a walk in a park you may not have hear of. Starting from the Aspen Hill Park we will walk along a paved path next to a creek. We'll simply go one direction for about 40 minutes then back, for a total of 1 hour 20 minutes, and just over 3 miles. The park goes all the way to Lake Needwood if anyone wants to keep going. No poles needed, no boulders to scramble over.
The last time I was there there was a port-a-potty available in the parking lot. There should be plenty of parking. Dogs are welcome, I just ask that they be on-leash.
For this one I will only cancel in the case of extreme weather. In the case of light rain we will get our ponchos and umbrellas and enjoy it!
