Fire Drill Tower Run

Time and location:
This run club meets at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday in front of the Fire Drill Tower located in the parking lot in front of Bull City Running Co. The street address is 501 Washington St D, Durham, NC 27701 and there is abundant parking on site.

Route:
From this meetup point, we run north on Ellerbee Creek Trail until we reach Rock Quarry Park where there are restrooms and a drinking fountain. After taking a short break at Rock Quarry Park, we run back to the Fire Drill Tower through a slightly different path that takes us through Durham’s residential neighborhoods. In total, this run is approximately six miles long and is conducted at around a 10 min/mile pace.

Coffee:
After the run, our group will head over to Liturgy Beverage Company for coffee. In addition, Durham Farmers’ Market is held on the same block as Liturgy Beverage Company every Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. If you are interested in shopping after the run, you can read more about some of the vendors here: https://www.durhamfarmersmarket.com/our-vendors.
