We come together on Sunday mornings at 9:00 AM PST.
Sunday Morning Mindfulness Meditation is an opportunity to sit and meditate with others before we jump into the day, we end at 9:50 AM.
Mindfulness meditation allows everyone to slow down, unwind stress, plus gain new insights into life, ourselves, and opportunities for inner growth.
We sit in silence together in a 30-minute meditation that is guided in the beginning to help the mind and body settle.
Science has shown that by lowering stress our immune system can be strengthened.
Sunday Morning Weekend Meditation is offered through the Mindfulness Care Center on a donation basis, no one is turned away. Our Website.
Everyone deserves a dose of mindfulness and compassionate wisdom practices. The Mindfulness Care Center was voted by San Francisco Magazine the Best Of...Mindfulness & Mediation in 2018.
The group is facilitated by Rik Center, Co-founder of the Mindfulness Care Center and Author of the Book: "If You Can't Change Your Mood, Change Your Mind ~ mindful reflections toward self-discovery."
Rik began a meditation practice in the late 80s. He's a Mindfulness Meditation Teacher, a Somatic Experiencing Stress and Trauma Counselor/Practitioner, and a Buddhist/Interfaith Chaplain. He is a member of the USABP/United States Association Of Body Psychotherapy.
Rik facilitates and leads a variety of mindfulness classes based on embodied practices of healing stress, unresolved anxieties, grief, and loss.
