What we’re about
"Wherever you are, in whatever circumstances you may be, strive to be a lover." Rumi
Rumi was a great mystic and visionary poet from the 13th Century, born in Afghanistan and living most of his life in Konya, today in Turkey. He is considered one of the greatest Islamic literary figures of all time, and he sang of a path to the Divine Beloved through music, ecstatic dance and loving friendship.
We are a small gathering to read and reflect on Rumi's poetry and explore what it can help us understand of our own life.
We also hold a quarterly creative writing afternoon, and regular interfaith meditation evenings.
All are welcome, from any personal or spiritual background.
