Between the rivers Rupel and Nete lies one of Flanders’ most surprising landscapes - where water, clay, and art meet. 🌿 Once home to brickmakers and barges, the valley is now a peaceful haven for walkers and dreamers alike.
Our route begins at Boom station, follows countryside paths through Rumst to the confluence of the Rupel and Nete, then loops back into De Schorre - home to the wooden trolls by Thomas Dambo. We’ll end with a relaxing moment at Café De Pitte.
