🌿 Green Walk Hike: Boitsfort → Uccle-Calevoet Sonian
Details
Join Sunday Vacations for a relaxed Saturday morning hike along one of the greenest sections of Brussels’ Promenade Verte, travelling from Boitsfort to Uccle-Calevoet through woodland, parks, garden-city streets and protected nature reserves.
We’ll walk together at a friendly pace, discover some surprisingly wild corners of southern Brussels, and finish with an optional convivial lunch in Calevoet before everyone heads off for the rest of their Saturday.
Coming alone? You’re very welcome. Come for the walk, stay for the conversations. 🌿

🌿 EXPERIENCE OVERVIEW
Our route follows the official Promenade Verte section “La Forêt de Soignes et le sud d’Uccle”, connecting two railway stations and making this a simple car-free morning escape.
Starting at Boitsfort Station, we’ll make our way towards Parc Tournay-Solvay before entering the landscapes of the Sonian Forest.
From there, our route takes us through the Chemin des Deux Montagnes, Bois de Buysdelle and the Homborch garden-city neighbourhood before reaching the greener and more secluded Kinsendael and Kriekenput nature reserves.
After approximately 8 km, we’ll arrive at Uccle-Calevoet Station around lunchtime.
And rather than simply saying goodbye at the station, those who wish can join us for a relaxed lunch nearby — a chance to sit down, warm up, continue the conversations and finish the morning together.
