1 HOW DOES THIS WORK?

Every Sunday we work on a Public Speaking skill related to your VOICE, your BODY or your MIND. We cover a wide range of topics such as Storytelling, Persuasion, Vocal Tone & Improv theater. There’s a different topic every week and a different leader facilitating the workshop.

A typical session is split into 2 parts, the 1st hour being « The Workshop » with exercices & the 2nd hour is « Stage time » which can be Individual speeches with feedback, Debates, Improvised Group scenes or storytelling in front of the audience.

In our club, we focus on mastering the tools, techniques, and best practices for delivering a powerful message - not debating the message itself. That's why we steer clear of politics and other potentially divisive topics, ensuring a respectful and inclusive space for everyone to grow as speakers.

We started in summer of 2016 & Our workshops are in English.

2 WHAT DO I NEED TO PREPARE BEFORE I COME?

No need to prepare anything, the only requirement is a big smile & positive energy 🥳

3 WHEN & WHERE?

Sundays 14.00 - 16.00. Please Be on time as the warmups & exercises start immediately at 14:00.

From September onwards, we will be indoors in a classroom at Folkuniversitet on the 5th floor at the left side of the building, room 514.

4 DOES IT COST ANYTHING?

Our workshops are free, as our instructors are volunteers.

However, for regular participants, after your second or 3rd session, we require that you help us with a small contribution to cover the costs of our Meetup-App subscription and the workshop room used during the year. Without it, we can’t keep the Sundays fun 🥳

The contribution is only 100 SEK per semester!

Please swish 100 SEK for the current (September-December) semester to Claes Palm on 0704407650 with a message « Sunday Speaking Fee».

RULES

⛔️ As we have limited spots, It’s important to update your attendance status to “Going or Not Going” before the event starts. Booking a spot without attending or changing the status will lead to a ban from the group.
