What we’re about
We have a Ukrainian-inspired AirB&B home where we organize a variety of events. We are teaching Ukrainian language and culture, as well as welcoming yoga, meditation, and other mindfulness events. Our goal is to grow a strong and healthy community and to help interesting people find each other and create new stuff together. Also, we are supporting Ukraine with our donation after each event, working with local non-profit organization "Liberty Ukraine". Learn, share love and creativity, and help us end the war!

Halloween Party
Casa De Luz, 1701 Toomey Road, Austin, TX, USHey, dear witches on brooms, esteemed departed souls, skeletons with rattling bones, fairy-tale princesses, and terrible monsters slipped from their stories!
We are absolutely dying to hear your tales. So, stop wandering between worlds! Come and join us on November 2nd, and tell us, read for us, play, or sing about the eerie things that have happened to you.
Or maybe things that haven't—just various spooky, creepy things.
It is safe here to speak of the scariest things.
We'll have a prize for the best costume, as well as for the best poem or story!
We'll be able to enjoy some music by Alex Syedin and Dashko Shadko. And some poetry from your host, Albina Pozdnyakova.
Registered in advance musicians and readers may join us for free. The rest will need a ticket, because we need to cover the rent. If our musicians/readers list will be full, you'll be able to sign up in the waiting list on the day of event.

St. Andrew's Eve
Pflugerville, TX, Pflugerville, Te, USJoin us on December 12th for an enchanting St. Andrew's Eve celebration!
This night holds deep pre-Christian roots, a time when the veil between worlds is thin and the spirit of destiny speaks. Proto-Ukrainians believed in the deity Kalyta descending to protect the defenseless winter sun—a perfect setting for myth and powerful verse.
We are inviting poets, storytellers, and songwriters to connect with this ancient energy and share work inspired by destiny, prophecy, darkness, and light.### The Performers' Privilege: Free Admission
This is your chance to showcase your craft to an audience gathered specifically to seek mystery.
- Secure Your Free Entry: Poets who register their open mic slot in advance receive a FREE admission ticket! This is our way of celebrating your commitment to the music and spoken word.
- Last-Minute Wishlist: If the performance roster fills up, you can still add yourself to the on-the-spot Wishlist upon arrival, but you must purchase a regular admission ticket to enter the venue.
### A Night of Mystic Inspiration
Between your readings, you and the audience will explore fun, ancient divination methods: card readings, Kalyta (special holiday bread) biting, throwing boots, fortune telling with the ring, beans, and candle-lit nut shells.
