Winter's End

Details
Dear S.P.A.M.ers,
The last jam was a lot of fun. Each one is different, as different folks show up, usually, and that makes for its unique character. I love playing with those "regulars" who come now and then as well as meeting new folks. It's all good!
Again, it's all right to bring in pretty much any type of music you want to, such as: Rock, (older or newer), Folk, Indie, Original Music (that you've written), Show Tunes, etc. Heavy/ Dark Metal, well... you can leave that for a different jam. Pretty much, though- we usually play what the aggregate have familiarity with, even if they've not played the song before. Largely, that means older rock and some current rock tunes that can be heard on the "air waves". :-)
One thing I do ask is that you come at least basically, prepared. I'm not really keen on someone who likes a tune but doesn't quite know how it goes and wants the group to take time getting that together for them. You don't have to be perfect; just run through your tune at least once, beforehand. Sheet music to pass out really helps, and if others know the tune, that's helpful, too.
That being said, here are my basics: please bring: Music to pass around, if you can, Donation for the kitty, (i.y.c.), Snack/ Beverage for break time, (i.y.c.), your instrument and/or your beautiful voice!
Thank you, Singing and Playing Acoustic Music Jammers!
I'm going to try to have a jam, once a month, which has "traditionally" fallen on the second Sunday of the month, at 1:00 PM. Sometimes life gets in the way or I get really busy, so either the date will change that month or it'll be dark for a particular month- these things are random. 2nd Sunday of the month is the usual.
Do note the RSVP time is set for Sunday, Feb 23 at 10 AM.
All the Best, and if you want to contact me, you can do so through Messages. Looking forward to seeing you, and thank you for your contributions that help keep this jam alive!
